The Financial Aid Process


Within 3 days of applying to Asher Institute of Hampton complete and submit the FAFSA.

Within 7 days of notification of documentation request, submit requested documents to Asher Institute of Hampton.

Students should complete Financial Aid Applications at least 3 days prior to the start of each enrollment period.


The Student must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The student will receive the Student Aid Report (SAR) and the school receives an electronic Institutional Student Information Report (ISIR).

The student will be notified by email if additional documents are required from FAFSA.

Then the student submits all requested documents.

Next, the Financial Aid Department reviews submitted documents.

Upon approval of submitted documents, the student will be able to come on campus to sign and complete their contract.

Shortly, the approved financial aid is disbursed onto the student’s tuition account after the student attends school.

Lastly, any stipend checks from Title IV funding credits are issued to students within 14 days of when the credit occurs during a payment period.
