Cosmetology
Instructional Method:
The course will use lectures, demonstrations and student participation. Students will demonstrate their competency in cosmetology theory and practice through mannequin repetitions and clinic activities. Instruction will be supplemented with visual aids, student exercises, student presentation and other instructional techniques.
Course Description:
Cosmetology Program offers a 1500-hour, 38-week intensive learning experience in a real-life salon setting. Students will receive training in the art and science of cosmetology.
Course Goals:
Train the student for entry-level employment as a Hair Stylist, Platform Artist, Colorist, Sales Representative, Salon Manager or Salon Owner.
