Admissions




We are located in Hampton, Virginia, and are open to serving any student wanting to join the Institute Student body. We serve a diverse student body of all ages and backgrounds and are dedicated to helping each and every one of them achieve their potential.

Admission requirements are as follows:

      1. Submit a high school diploma, GED®, state-issued credential for secondary completion if homeschooled, or other circumstances.                                                                                                                                                                                                        – High school transcripts will be accepted if the diploma cannot be accessed (transcripts must clearly indicate graduation date). Online diplomas are subject to acceptance upon verification standards.
      2. Submit a copy of a legal form of identification
      3. Submit completed application with a non-refundable $100 Application Fee**
      4. Complete the Financial Planning Session
      5. Sign the completed Enrollment
      6. Admission to the Instructor Training course requires all the above and an active state cosmetology license.

We are a Title IV institution, which allows us to offer financial aid through student loans and Pell Grants. We also accept beneficiaries of the GI Bill®.
